Albufeira and its beaches, the historical sites of Silves the old sandstone
castle and the cathedral, São
Bartolomeu de Messines, a village rich in remains of the past and Guia

The Algoz village is surrounded
by orange
groves, fig and almond trees and is characterized for its whitewashed
houses and the typical laced chimneys. Located on the outskirts of
the village it is a five minute drive/10 min walk from
the Algoz village centre, municipal markets, country walks, cafes
and
restaurants.
Activities- Within 15 minute drive from Algoz Zoo, Zoo
Marine, AugaShow family park, historical sites, The Algarve shopping
centre (Cinemas, hypermarket, creche and soft play area, food mall
& bowling among many
other shops)
, many well know Algarve beaches and Golf Courses.
Train - A 10 min walk from the
villa to the Algoz railway station and just
over a 45min train journey to Faro city, Lagos town centre/beach
and the Portimao town centre.

Buses and Trains Buses serve the centres of most towns. In most cases railway stations are, unfortunately,
way outside towns and taxi or bus connections are necessary.
The stations fairly close to towns are: Lagos, Portimao, Silves
( a ten minute walk away), Almancil, Faro, Olhao, Tavira and
Vila Real de St Antonio.
